From the socket to payroll: Automation for company-wide e-charging parks
Cooperation between the Weinheim-based IT consultancy objective partner and Webasto enables seamless billing of charging processes via salary with the help of SAP S/4HANA.
Weinheim, September 19, 2023 - Many companies would like to provide their employees with charging facilities for electric cars at the workplace. To make the billing of these charging processes as simple and convenient as possible, Weinheim-based IT consultancy objective partner has developed an interface to Webasto's charging solutions. Charging processes can thus be billed directly via the payroll system - regardless of whether the private car or the company car is charged at the e-post on the company premises.
At the charging stations, employees use RFID cards or the ChargeConnect app to authorize the charging process and assign it to an account. Automated billing of the charging current takes place directly in SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) with SAP SuccessFactors - all integrated in SAP S/4HANA.

The solution developed by objective partner for Webasto is fully operational as a complete package for company-wide e-charging parks and can be used by other companies for the automated billing of charging processes via salary.
