Idea

Despite digitalization and automation trends, the industry and economy surrounding buildings is still heavily characterized by manual activities and paper. Buzzwords such as digital transformation, Industry 4.0 and automation are frequently used, but ideas for implementation are lacking. Our virtual Innovation Circle aims to address the major opportunities instead of letting them pass by - let's talk real estate.

We bring together representatives from the industry across the entire real estate life cycle as well as experts from science and business to engage in digital dialog. Together, we discuss current and exciting issues and topics - and develop visions for the future.

Using Industry 4.0 approaches

Use approaches from
Industry 4.0

Proven procedures from Industry 4.0 can also be used sensibly in the real estate value chain and thus for all project participants - this not only has an impact on efficiency, but also plays an important role in terms of future orientation and security. Basic Industry 4.0 technologies are available and are already being used. This is about:

Data and its secure exchange Technologies such as BIM (Building Information Model)

Creating real exchange

Creating real exchange

Through a moderated exchange, a limited number of participants and industry-specificity, we want to create opportunities that can actually be put into practice. We build on:

Openness, fairness and commitment Partnership-based and trusting interaction A joint network for a lively exchange

Innovation Circle

Our Innovation Circle bundles practical and user expertise, provides impetus from science and research and experience from consulting. This results in an end-to-end view of the entire value chain from a wide variety of perspectives. Recurring & online!

"I am an entrepreneur who is fully committed, creative and 100% digital. I am sure that you can call yourself lucky if you are allowed to do what you are passionate about. Because it's an unbridled joy to work passionately on the future, to develop new ideas, to create opportunities and to look for ways forward."

Fanny Eynöthen

Born in 1990, expert in real estate management and organizational development

"Peter Ferdinand Drucker (1909 - 2005) was already of the opinion that we cannot predict the future, but we can shape it. There are currently many discussions about the future of the world of work and real estate, and I want to help shape this future with passion and authenticity. But nobody knows everything and nobody can shape the future alone, which is why we want to do this together."

Out-of-the-box thinkers

Prof. Dr. Braml

Born in 1976, expert in reliability theory in solid construction, Professor of Solid Construction at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich

"We have to leave the next generations an environment worth living in. At the university, I have been given the opportunity to develop new strategies for environmentally friendly buildings and particularly sustainable structures for infrastructure. With the digitalization of the construction industry, a multitude of new possibilities are emerging that allow us to significantly extend the service life of buildings. Extending service life - thus conserving resources. This is my motivation for research in solid construction."

Frank Hermanns

Born 1975, Branch Manager Hamburg, UDM Development

"Many technologies already have a high level of development today, but can often only be implemented in the long term due to the complexity of real estate projects. Climate protection goals and user needs drive me every day to accelerate such tough innovation cycles and quickly implement narrowly defined use cases in reality. Collaborative, transparent and measurable."

Maximilian Reingruber

Born in 1983, expert in Industry 4.0 and the digitalization of objective partner

"Joseph Schumpeter described innovation as the implementation of new combinations. These valuable combinations arise when we look beyond the boundaries of the IT industry. Only these allow us to take a user-centered approach to digital transformation."
