It was clear from the outset that this integration would not be a standard project. The goal: to integrate all financial data from the former Sihl Direct GmbH GoBD-compliant and secure in SAP - and in such a way that the system does not come to a standstill. A stable interface was created that reliably and easily transfers all data to SAP.

The path to secure and stable financial integration
The project followed a clear plan to meet the requirements of the auditors and the Sihl Group's performance targets:
- Data preparation and mapping
All financial data from eEvolution was structured and prepared for transfer to SAP. - Consolidated company codes
A special company code for Sihl Direct and another for the overall consolidation ensured that nothing was lost. - Technical interface development
is an abbreviation for Intermediate Document: Interchange Document. The purpose of an IDoc is to transfer data or information from SAP to other systems and vice versa. The transfer from SAP to non-SAP systems takes place via an EDI subsystem (EDI = Electronic Data Interchange).
