And here comes the sixth part of our series with Claudia Galetzka, Product Owner and Customer Success Manager at objective partner. Dive into Claudia's eclectic world where she combines her passion for psychology, technology and motorcycling to develop innovative solutions and understand her customers' needs.
Hey Claudia, it's great that you're here and have time to talk to us. Let's dive right into your working world. Why don't you give us an insight into your training and career to date and tell us how you came to objective partner?

Hey, sure! Istudied business psychology and had various jobs along the way, from virtual reality to chatbots. After graduating, I worked in strategic market research before joining objective partner and now as a product owner and Customer Success Manager.

And what does a typical day as a Product Owner and Customer Success Manager at objective partner look like?

Oh, there are no typical days! Every day brings new challenges. As a Product Owner it is my job to Bneeds of the customersinside and translate them for development. I do a lot of testing to ensure that we deliver the best solutions.

Has the psychological part of your training influenced your approach to customer service, interaction and product development?

Psychology plays a big role, especially in customer service. I have learned how important emotions are for product perception and try to this take this into account in my work. No matter what profession you practisesyou should be aware of the psychological effects. How does is is an attitude formed? What motivates people? How do people deal with change? All of this helps to successfully complete a project for everyone.

You also work intensively on cultural development at objective partner - why is that important to you? And how do you see the importance of employee surveys?

A positive corporate culture is crucial for success. That is why I am committed to initiatives such as leadership training and intercultural exchange. Employee surveys help us to make informed decisions and ensure that everyone is heard. That's why I think it's a useful tool.

How do your hobbies influence your work at objective partner?

My hobbies help me to switch off. I like to ride my motorcycle. Dt best for me is thatnis that you can't think about anything else - otherwise it becomes dangerous. I can switch off from work completely. I am privately involved in many app beta-Tests, pre-relae Discord communities and generally interested in technology. Thanks to my interest in technology, I can better understand the work of developers and actively contribute to product development.

What was the most important learning from your career, and what advice would you give to people who want to pursue a similar career in the IT industry?

It is important to never give up and to keep learning. Practical experience is just as important as theoretical knowledge. Besides, there is so much knowledge out there that is freely available. My advice would be not to wait to be taught something, but to simply start solving a problem. Preferably something that affects you personally. Maybe you want to automate a boring activity, manage your mother's recipes on your iPad or use an Argentinian VPN to pay just €1 for YouTube Premium with an Argentinian VPN. Tackling such personal projects will force you to acquire certain skills, whether it's proper googling or problem solving. As a Product owner it's not just about the actual development, but above all about solving problems.

Finally, a somewhat unconventional question: If you could have the abilities of a superhero for a day, which superpower would you choose and why?

I would like to be able to read minds. That would enable me to respond even better to the needs of my customersinside and communicate more effectively.

Thank you, Claudia, for these profound insights and advice. It was a pleasure talking to you.

Thank you for the interview. I also had a lot of fun!
